AMGA CWI Course for Climbing Professionals
The AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor Course is designed for gym staff, coaches, and instructors who teach and supervise climbing in artificial climbing environments. This 2 to 2.5-day course develops technical proficiency, instructional skill, movement coaching, risk management, and professional judgment. Candidates may be assessed at the Top Rope or Lead level based on their experience, performance, and course outcomes.
Single Pitch Climbing Apprenticeship
The Single Pitch Apprenticeship is a mentorship program for recreational climbers who want to grow beyond isolated skills and learn how to apply them in real climbing environments. Over an extended period of time, climbers receive professional guidance as they build technical understanding, decision-making, and judgment across varied single pitch settings. This program is designed to help fill the gap left by the loss of traditional climbing mentorship, while also creating space for climbers to build community, find partners, and develop the confidence needed for a unforgettable climbing adventures.
Canyoneering Apprenticeship
The Canyoneering Apprenticeship provides a guided path for those ready to move through rugged canyon terrain with greater skill, awareness, and judgment. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, you will develop the rigging, navigation, movement, rope management, and decision-making needed for a variety of canyon descents. This immersive program goes beyond drills and classroom “what ifs,” helping you understand how choices unfold in real terrain where water, weather, anchors, sequence, and group dynamics all matter. Along the way, you will build the discernment, confidence, and trusted partnerships essential for a lifetime of thoughtful canyon exploration.
